Singapore Heritage Festival 2017
By National Heritage Board Follow | Public

The annual Singapore Heritage Festival (SHF), a festival for the people, by the people, presents the lesser-known stories about Singaporeans’ shared spaces, and way of life. This year, the festival is excited to introduce SHF Takes Over!, which offers access to previously unexplored or inaccessible spaces. Coupled with dedicated programmes, uncover hidden tales of the sites, and experience them first-hand. This year, SHF Takes Over! offers exclusive access to the iconic Caldecott Broadcast Centre, where many well-loved broadcast productions were made. Other festival highlights include exploring the nooks and crannies of historic districts such as Bukit Pasoh, Little India and Singapore River. Through immersive programmes such as trails, tours, open houses and performances at spots all over our island, SHF enables Singapore’s diverse communities to share their stories with the public, in celebration of our vibrant cultural heritage.
